But from the operations of the ICC so far, it is clear that the world will not be able to bring to earthly justice powerful individuals in Europe and America who truly deserve to be candidates for prosecution at The Hague. For if we were living in a world where we are all equal before the law and we all have equal passion for fairness, justice and equity, there is no earthly reason why Obama, Cameron and Sarkozy and other leaders and individuals in the big and powerful nations would not have been at The Hague by now to answer for the terrible crimes they only recently committed against the people of Libya.

Reportage sui colossali interessi delle industrie farmaceutiche: studi clinici contraffatti, invenzione di patologie, vendita di farmaci inutili, se non dannosi, zelanti informatori e medici compiacenti… alimentano un mercato da cui le multinazionali traggono immensi profitti. Non solo: la diffusione di medicinali contribuisce ad indebolire una popolazione già danneggiata da mille veleni.
E’ paradossale, mentre si decantano i “progressi” della scienza medica, la gente sovente malata e muore, più spesso di quanto accadeva in passato, a causa di molteplici affezioni … quelle vere.

Artisti, economisti, politici, la parte migliore del continente dimenticato, fanno il punto su passato e presente e guardano al futuro del loro mondo. E se su passato e presente pesano le ombre del razzismo, del colonialismo e della rapina delle grandi risorse di questa straordinaria terra, per il futuro l’Africa vuol far da sola, stanca di false promesse e sfruttamento.
